Sensex gains 200 pts, Nifty tests 9,850

The Indian markets were trading nearly half a per cent higher on Tuesday, lifted by gains in certain index heavyweights. The S&P BSE Sensex was up 200 points, or 0.6 per cent, at 33,480 levels, and the Nifty50 index hovered around 9,850 mark.
