Wall Street Points to Higher Open

U.S. stocks were set to open slightly higher, as investors turned their focus to the latest batch of corporate earnings.The blue-chip Dow futures were up 50 points, or about 0.2%, the S&P 500 futures added 5 points, or around 0.2%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 futures indicated a gain of 35 points, or roughly 0.5%.The corporate earnings season is off to a strong start. With more than 15% of S&P 500 companies having reported, 83% have topped analyst expectations, according to FactSet.
