The markets opened higher on Wednesday taking cues from their Asian peers amid ongoing trade war tensions between the US-China.Trade tensions between the US and China showed few signs of easing, with a White House trade adviser saying that Beijing underestimated the US President’s resolve to impose more tariffs. China vowed to retaliate against US companies after President Donald Trump threatened to place tariffs on another $200 billion in Chinese imports, deepening a trade dispute between the world’s two biggest economies.In the global markets, stocks in Asia rebounded from recent losses on Wednesday as investors sought bargains, a day after the specter of a US-China trade war rattled global markets, but significant uncertainty around the trade outlook is capping gains.
